Position Overview: Computer Science Teacher

The Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality, curriculum-aligned Computer Science lessons, nurturing students’ problem-solving abilities, and promoting ethical and responsible use of technology.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping learners’ digital competencies and preparing them for a technology-driven world.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Computer Science Teacher will be expected to:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons
Teach in line with the National Curriculum Framework
Assess, record, and report students’ academic progress and behavior
Assign, mark, and evaluate coursework, projects, and examinations
Guide and mentor students academically and professionally
Promote digital literacy and responsible technology use
Participate in school development plans, meetings, and activities
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and school leadership

Qualifications and Experience Required

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with Education
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant teaching experience
Strong digital literacy and technical skills
Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities
Passion for teaching and mentoring students
Ability to work in a multicultural and mission-driven environment
