Position Overview: Computer Science Teacher

The Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality, curriculum-aligned Computer Science lessons, nurturing students’ problem-solving abilities, and promoting ethical and responsible use of technology.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping learners’ digital competencies and preparing them for a technology-driven world.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Computer Science Teacher will be expected to:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons
  • Teach in line with the National Curriculum Framework
  • Assess, record, and report students’ academic progress and behavior
  • Assign, mark, and evaluate coursework, projects, and examinations
  • Guide and mentor students academically and professionally
  • Promote digital literacy and responsible technology use
  • Participate in school development plans, meetings, and activities
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and school leadership

Qualifications and Experience Required

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with Education
  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant teaching experience
  • Strong digital literacy and technical skills
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and mission-driven environment
