Position
Overview: Nursery Teacher
The Nursery Teacher will be
responsible for providing quality early childhood education by creating
a safe, inclusive, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment.
The successful candidate will
support children’s intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development
while fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities
The Nursery Teacher will be expected
to perform the following duties:
Teaching
& Learning
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and
play-based learning activities
- Use creative teaching methods to support early
literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Encourage curiosity, exploration, and positive learning
attitudes among learners
Child
Development & Assessment
- Promote children’s holistic development
(cognitive, emotional, social, and physical)
- Observe, assess, and record learners’ progress
regularly
- Identify learners’ individual needs and provide
appropriate support
Classroom
Management
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and
child-friendly classroom
- Ensure adherence to child protection and safeguarding
standards
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom
culture
Communication
& Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
regarding learners’ progress
- Work closely with school management and fellow teachers
- Participate actively in school meetings, events, and
programs
Professional
Responsibilities
- Take part in professional development and training
activities
- Uphold school policies, ethics, and values at all times
- Contribute positively to the overall mission of

Required
Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications
- Advanced Level Certificate (A2) in Early Childhood Education
Professional
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven teaching
experience in the Nursery section
- Demonstrated ability to manage young learners
effectively
Skills

- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- High level of patience, care, and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for early childhood education and child
wellbeing
