Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Officer will be central to RMI’s strategic growth initiatives. Responsibilities include:

1. Strategic Planning & Business Growth

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with RMI’s long-term objectives.
  • Prepare and manage annual business plans, identifying priorities, key activities, risks, and measurable outcomes.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capture them effectively.

2. Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competition, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Analyze potential business deals, evaluate financial viability, and make informed recommendations.
  • Maintain a continuous understanding of the industry landscape, ensuring RMI stays ahead of competitors.

3. Business Deal & Proposal Management

  • Develop business proposals for new initiatives and partnership opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure integration of contract requirements with operational processes.
  • Explore innovative strategies for integrating new ventures and maximizing profitability.

4. Relationship Building & Networking

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with all RMI units to develop client-focused services and proposals.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to support sales strategies and promotional campaigns.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide regular feedback to management on market developments, competitor activities, and strategic insights.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by management to support institutional objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered, candidates must meet one of the following educational and experience requirements:

Qualification

Required Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Project Management, Development Studies, Business Administration, or Marketing Management

5 Years

Master’s Degree in Economics, Project Management, Development Studies, Business Administration, or Marketing Management

0 Years (fresh graduates eligible)

Note: A Master’s in Business Administration is highly desirable.

Assessment Process

Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated through a comprehensive selection process:
