Gender Data and
Intersectionality Advisor at GIZ Rwanda (FAST Project) – Apply by 5 January
2026
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Project: FAST – Feminism in Action for Structural Transformation
Contract Period: 01 February 2026 – 30 September 2026 (renewable upon
review)
Salary Band: 4
Application Deadline: 05 January 2026 at 4:00 PM (CAT)
Introduction:
When Data Becomes Power and Feminism Becomes Action
Behind every statistic is a lived
reality. Behind every policy decision is a dataset that shapes who benefits,
who is protected, and who is left behind. In Rwanda a country globally
recognized for its commitment to gender equality the next frontier is not whether
gender equality matters, but how deeply and accurately it is measured,
understood, and acted upon.
This is where the Gender Data and
Intersectionality Advisor role at GIZ Rwanda, under the FAST
(Feminism in Action for Structural Transformation) project, becomes more
than a job. It becomes a platform to influence systems, strengthen feminist
movements, prevent gender-based violence, and ensure that digital and
governance reforms truly reflect the realities of women, girls, and
marginalized groups.
If you are a gender specialist,
feminist policy practitioner, data-informed development professional, or
governance expert seeking meaningful international development work in Africa with
global relevance this opportunity deserves your full attention.
