Job Title: EquiFarm Project Manager

Location: Equity Bank Headquarters, Kigali
Department: Social Impact Investments
Reports to: Director, SII
Application Deadline: 5 December 2025

Key Responsibilities

1  Platform Management & Development

  • Oversee day-to-day performance of the EquiFarm digital platform
  • Coordinate platform upgrades with IT teams and vendors
  • Guarantee system reliability, data accuracy, and user-friendliness

2  Farmer & Cooperative Onboarding

  • Lead digital onboarding for smallholder farmers
  • Collaborate with field officers and agri-finance teams
  • Validate and assess eligible beneficiaries

3 Project Management

  • Develop strategic work plans, timelines, and reports
  • Manage budgets and implementation activities

4  Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)

  • Establish analytics and dashboards to track impact
  • Use data to guide strategy and platform improvements

5  Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with NGOs, government bodies, and agri-tech partners
  • Represent Equity Bank Rwanda in agriculture and ICT forums

6  Training & Capacity Development

  • Lead training sessions for staff and farmer groups
  • Support digital literacy across rural communities

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, IT, Project Management, or related fields
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management or digital platforms
  • Deep understanding of agricultural value chains
  • Strong technical and digital systems management background
  • Experience in Monitoring & Evaluation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination abilities
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Fluency in English & Kinyarwanda (French is a plus)
