Required Qualifications & Experience
To qualify for this exciting
position, you should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field
- 4+ years experience
in automotive service & maintenance management
- Strong understanding of high-voltage systems
& digital electronics
- Proven experience handling:
- Spare parts inventory
- Warranty programs
- Technical reporting
- Third-party service providers
- Diagnostic experience in resolving advanced automotive
faults
- EV or electric drivetrain experience is a major
advantage
- Ability to work flexible hours in a dynamic environment

Your Key Responsibilities
1.
Team Leadership & Workshop Management
- Lead the service, charging, and maintenance teams
- Implement SOPs for safe and efficient operations
- Oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Ensure maximum fleet uptime through proactive
strategies
- Organize workload, overtime approvals, and
documentation compliance
2.
Job Cards & Service Records
- Create, track, and close maintenance job cards
- Document all repairs, parts used, and man-hours
- Maintain accurate digital records within PAYD and
internal systems
- Ensure proper service history for each electric bus
3.
Technical Diagnosis & Troubleshooting
- Lead complex diagnostics on:
- Electric drivetrains
- Battery systems
- Thermal systems
- Power electronics
- Brake, suspension, and steering systems
- Collaborate with OEM technicians and warranty teams
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure cost effectiveness
4.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Track key maintenance KPIs such as:
- Fleet uptime
- Maintenance cost per km
- Turnaround time
- Parts usage
- Build dashboards using Excel or Power BI
- Present performance reports to management
5.
Safety, Compliance & Workshop Quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workshop
- Enforce high-voltage electrical safety standards
- Train your team on strict safety protocols
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement
