Job Responsibilities
As a Roads and Utilities Inspector,
you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of
infrastructure across Kigali. Your responsibilities will include:
Infrastructure
Inspection & Compliance
- Inspect all district roads, bridges, drainages,
sewage systems, and utilities under construction, rehabilitation,
redevelopment, or maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with Kigali’s Master Plan,
zoning guidelines, national laws, and all technical standards related to
road and utilities development.
Field
Monitoring & Reporting
- Conduct joint field visits alongside relevant
staff to verify the status and quality of infrastructure projects.
- Assist in preparing progress and completion reports
for roads and utilities under construction.
- Compile and submit regular inspection reports
and provide professional recommendations to the supervisor.
Operational
Support
- Produce periodic progress updates on inspected
projects.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of
the Inspection Unit.
Minimum Qualifications
This role is open to fresh graduates
(0 years of experience required). Eligible qualifications include:
Bachelor’s
/ Advanced Diploma in:
- Civil Engineering
- Land Surveying
- Construction Technology
- Quantity Surveying
- Roads Construction Engineering
Both Bachelor’s degrees and Advanced
Diplomas are accepted.
