Applicants for this role will undergo three assessments:

1 Psychometric Test

Job Responsibilities

Successful candidates will perform the following key duties:

1. Staff Transportation

  • Drive RTDA staff to various field locations as assigned by management.
  • Ensure timely and safe transport for official missions across Rwanda.

2. Courier & Logistics

  • Deliver official documents and cargo to assigned destinations.

3. Vehicle Registration & Inspection

  • Develop criteria for assessing public service vehicles before they are registered.
  • Determine roadworthiness of modified vehicles.
  • Verify changes in engine, vehicle class, or mechanical structure according to national standards.

4. Vehicle Re-inspections

  • Manage re-inspection procedures for vehicles that fail initial, routine, periodical, or random inspection.

5. Technical Support to Police

  • Provide expert analysis and assistance on vehicle status during traffic accident investigations.
  • Prepare technical motor vehicle inspection reports.
  • Defend the technical findings in court when required.

6. Additional Duties

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by competent authorities.

Qualifications Required

Essential Qualification

  • Driving License: Categories B, C, D, DI, or F

Experience

  • 0 years of experience required (fresh applicants are encouraged)
