Location: King Faisal Hospital, Kigali

Required Qualifications
To qualify for this position,
candidates must meet the following:

- Advanced Certificate (A2) in Associate Nursing
or General Nursing
- Must be registered with the National Council for
Nurses and Midwives
- Must possess a valid license to practice

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical
care, hospital assistance, or nursing support
Having experience in patient
interaction or ward support will significantly strengthen your application.

Key Responsibilities (Daily Tasks)
As a Health Care Assistant at King
Faisal Hospital, your duties will include:
Patient Monitoring
- Recording and taking vital signs such as
temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Reporting any unusual signs to nurses or doctors
Patient
Support
- Assisting patients with bathing, dressing, eating,
and mobility
- Helping post-operation patients move safely
- Ensuring patients have enough supplies such as pillows,
linen, and drinking water
Ward
Cleanliness & Hygiene
- Making beds and ensuring the patient’s room is clean
and organized
- Cleaning reusable materials and preparing them for
sterilization
Medical
Assistance
- Carrying patient samples (lab tests, blood
samples, etc.)
- Supporting nurses and doctors with simple clinical
tasks
Safety
& Compliance
- Following health and safety policies
- Applying proper infection prevention and control
procedures
- Reporting depleted supplies to the Unit Manager
- Suggesting improvements for better patient care and
operational efficiency
Other
Duties
- Performing additional tasks assigned by your supervisor
to support the ward team
