Position Details

·       Job Title: Business Development Executive – Cold Calls & Lead Generation

·       Location: Kigali, Rwanda

·       Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Your main mission will be to identify potential clients and convert leads into new business opportunities. Below are your primary duties:

1. Market Research & Prospecting

·       Identify, research, and evaluate potential clients in Rwanda and other African countries.

·       Understand target industries such as technology, education, banking, and logistics.

·       Build a database of qualified business contacts for ongoing outreach.

2. Lead Generation & Cold Calling

·       Make professional cold calls and send outreach emails to prospective clients.

·       Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns or referrals.

·       Engage with prospects to understand their needs and offer tailored digital solutions.

3. Client Relationship Management

·       Set up and coordinate meetings between potential clients and senior management.

·       Attend business meetings in Kigali to represent the company with professionalism and confidence.

·       Maintain positive, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.

4. Sales Support & Reporting

·       Prepare professional presentations, proposals, and quotations.

·       Keep accurate records of all sales activities, calls, and meetings using CRM tools.

·       Provide regular progress updates, lead reports, and performance summaries to management.

5. Collaboration & Continuous Learning

·       Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align strategies.

·       Stay informed about industry trends, market competition, and client needs.

·       Participate in ongoing training to sharpen your sales and communication skills.

Qualifications & Skills Required

To succeed in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Educational Background

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or any related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Professional Experience

·       Experience in sales, business development, or customer relations is a strong advantage.

·       Fresh graduates with exceptional communication and networking skills are also encouraged to apply.

Technical & Communication Skills

·       Strong understanding of digital solutions, software, or IT services.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Ability to negotiate, persuade, and maintain client trust.

·       Good organizational and presentation skills.

Language Proficiency

·       Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda is mandatory.
