the Role: Construction Foreman
The Construction Foreman will
play a critical leadership role on-site, assisting the Construction Manager
in coordinating daily construction activities. This position requires someone
who is both hands-on and strategic, able to manage workers,
oversee progress, maintain safety, and deliver results on time.
As a Construction Foreman at Kivu
Choice, you’ll be responsible for supervising site operations, monitoring work
quality, ensuring safety compliance, and leading teams to complete construction

Site Supervision and Coordination
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day construction
operations across multiple projects.
- Ensure that all construction work follows approved
designs, blueprints, and specifications.
- Supervise construction crews, subcontractors,

- Provide clear guidance and direction to workers to
maintain steady progress and meet deadlines.

environment at all times.

Quality Control and Safety Compliance
- Monitor all ongoing construction work to ensure quality

- Enforce compliance with Rwandan construction codes,

- Promote a strong safety culture by leading toolbox

- Assist the Construction Manager in organizing materials,

- Prevent wastage of resources by implementing efficient

- Track site progress and anticipate resource needs to
avoid project delays.

Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain daily site reports, including labor
attendance, materials usage, work progress, and equipment movement.
- Report any delays, design changes, or unexpected
challenges to the Construction Manager.
- Document project progress through photos, records,
and logs for accountability and future reference.

Team Leadership and Development
- Lead by example through discipline, dedication, and
teamwork.
- Motivate and guide site workers to perform tasks
efficiently and safely.

- Identify training needs for workers and recommend skill

Required Qualifications and Skills
To qualify for the Construction

Academic
Background:
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction
Management, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in construction safety
or project supervision are an added advantage.
Professional
Experience:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a
similar role (construction supervision or foreman).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials,
tools, and machinery.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical
