Overview
Equity Bank Rwanda Plc is recruiting a Relationship Supervisor (Channels)
to support its digital transformation and payment solutions strategy.
This position focuses on customer
acquisition, retention, and digital innovation, driving the bank’s mission
to expand financial inclusion through technology.
Key
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Promote and sell Equity Bank’s digital and payment
products to new and existing customers.
- Deliver branch-level sales targets and ensure
strong performance in line with KPIs.
- Recruit, activate, and monitor agents and merchants for optimal performance.
- Maintain a 90% activity rate across agents, POS
devices, and PWE tills.
- Drive growth in:
- International Money Transfers (IMT)
- Merchant POS and PWE business
- Intercountry transactions
- Champion digital product adoption and customer
education at the branch level.
- Support the development of innovative digital
financial solutions.
- Ensure KYC and AML compliance in all customer
engagements.
- Conduct market research and recommend strategic
technology improvements.
- Work closely with the Head Office to implement
the digital payments strategy.
- Manage card stock and maintain professional
client relationships.
Qualifications
and Skills
To qualify, applicants must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in agency banking or merchant acquiring business.
- A valid driving license (Category A or B) — an
added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of digital channels, relationship
management, and operations.
- Excellent sales, customer service, and communication
skills.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and market
trends.
- Awareness of global digital technology trends in
financial services.
- Results-driven mindset with excellent interpersonal
skills.
- Understanding of banking regulations and industry
standards.
