released a vacancy announcement inviting qualified Rwandans to apply for
positions in:
- Investigation (various fields)
- Crime Intelligence (Surveillance, Operations, and
Tactical Response Units)

General
Requirements for All Applicants

here are the general conditions every candidate must meet:
- Nationality
– Must be a Rwandan citizen.
- Application Letter
– Write a signed letter addressed to the Secretary General of RIB,
clearly stating the position you are applying for.
- Age Limit
–
- Maximum 30 years old for Investigator
positions.
- Maximum 25 years old for Surveillance,
Operations, and Tactical Response Officers.
- Clean Record
– Must not have been dismissed from public service.
- Good Conduct
– Provide:
- A certificate of good conduct from your local
authorities.
- A Criminal Records Clearance from the National
Public Prosecution Authority.
- Academic Qualification – Must have the required educational background, with
notarized copies of certificates.
- Health Requirement
– Must be medically fit and healthy.
- Flexibility
– Must be ready to work anywhere in Rwanda.
- One Position Rule
– Each applicant can apply for only one position.

Investigator in Different Fields (Level 5.II)
Required Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following:
- Law
- Management, Business Administration, Public
Administration, Administrative Sciences
- Finance, Public Finance, Economics, Accounting
- Professional Police Studies, Sociology, International
Relations, Social Studies
- Education Sciences, Information Technology (IT)

- Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English, or French.
