Role
Overview
We are seeking an organised,
proactive, and motivated Entry-Level / Trainee to join the FIFA Regional
Office supporting CECAFA (Council for East and Central Africa Football
Associations) and UNAF (Union of North African Federations). This is
an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or final-year student looking to
gain hands-on experience in international sports administration.
The role focuses on administrative
support, project coordination, financial assistance, and stakeholder relations
while ensuring compliance with FIFA’s standards and regional operations.
Key
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties, including organising
files, drafting correspondence, and preparing reports.
- Attend and participate in meetings, ensuring accurate minute-taking
and follow-up on action items.
- Support the Regional Office team in the coordination
and implementation of regional projects.
- Assist with basic financial tasks (budget
preparation, routine accounting support).
- Build and maintain professional relationships with Member
Associations and regional stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant FIFA regulations and
operational standards.
- Manage day-to-day office operations and liaise with
suppliers and service providers.
- Support ongoing projects across CECAFA and UNAF
regions.
- Represent FIFA’s values by working with autonomy,
rigour, and adaptability while being a collaborative team player.
Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (recent graduate or final-year student).
- Experience:
Entry-level, suitable for those with internships, volunteer work, or
administrative experience. Experience in the sports industry is an
advantage.
- Languages:
- Fluency in English and French (both written and
spoken).
- Arabic
is a strong asset.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organisation, rigour, and attention to detail.
- Ability to listen, analyse, and synthesise information
effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint).
- Project management and prioritisation skills.
- Interpersonal skills and cross-cultural awareness.
Desirable
Assets
- Practical experience with sports organisations,
football federations, or NGOs.
- Exposure to project coordination and/or basic
financial management.
- Knowledge of CECAFA / UNAF regional networks.

Location
& Travel
- Based at FIFA’s Regional Office, with close
coordination with FIFA HQ in Zurich.
- Must be willing and ready to travel within the
CECAFA and UNAF regions when required.
