Internship Opportunity: Customer Care Intern

Are you looking to kickstart your career in customer service or sales? Water Access Rwanda is recruiting a Customer Care Intern to join its growing team in Kigali.

This position is designed for a personable, computer-savvy, and customer-oriented individual who is passionate about community impact. You’ll receive training as a Call Center Representative while building skills that prepare you for future sales and management roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound & outbound calls with professionalism
  • Follow company scripts and customer service procedures
  • Respond to client needs efficiently and accurately
  • Verify and update client records in CRM software
  • Diffuse customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Build trust-based relationships with clients
  • Recommend additional products and services when appropriate
  • Maintain detailed customer interaction records
  • Attend regular training sessions to develop sales skills

Job Requirements

  • Proactive and solution-oriented attitude
  • Excellent organizational & multitasking skills
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & CRM software
  • Quick and accurate typing skills
  • Languages: Kinyarwanda, English, French, Swahili (trilingual candidates preferred)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (completed or ongoing) preferred
  • No professional experience required — motivation, skills, and eagerness to learn are most important
