We are currently hiring two (2) high-performing Regional Sales Managers to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding water services access across regions, ensuring that every household, kiosk, and public space has reliable and affordable water connections.

At our company, we are driven by one mission: to make sure that “every customer is a raving fan.” That means delivering not just products and services, but also trust, reliability, and satisfaction. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will lead the charge in turning this vision into reality.

Why This Role Matters

Access to clean and affordable water is more than just a service — it is a basic human right and a cornerstone of healthy communities. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be directly responsible for:

  • Increasing access to water services.
  • Growing household and community water connections.
  • Ensuring customers are satisfied, supported, and retained.
  • Building and managing a strong team of motivated professionals.

This is not just a sales job — it’s an opportunity to create real social impact while also building your career in a fast-growing organization.

As a Regional Sales Manager, your mission is simple yet ambitious:
Drive sales growth across your assigned region.
Expand our customer base by onboarding new households and communities.
Maintain excellent debt collection performance to keep operations financially healthy.
Lead and inspire your team to consistently exceed targets.

Key Result Areas

  1. Revenue Growth
    • Take ownership of regional revenue performance.
    • Drive sales of INUMA™ water products and services (public water points, household connections, and private contracts).
    • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  2. Customer Engagement
    • Actively seek new customers and connections, ensuring growth in both household and community networks.
    • Maintain a 100% accurate customer database for smooth service delivery and billing.
    • Build strong, lasting relationships that result in customer loyalty and low churn rates.
    • Innovate and test new ways to improve customer experiences.
  3. Customer Support
    • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues, inquiries, and complaints.
    • Escalate problems when needed, but always prioritize fast solutions.
    • Strengthen customer trust through reliable support and follow-up.
  4. Team Leadership
    • Recruit, train, and coach your regional team of field technicians and kiosk attendants.
    • Motivate team members to stay disciplined, productive, and customer-focused.
    • Set clear targets and hold your team accountable for achieving them.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Regional Sales Manager, your daily and weekly activities will include:

  • Setting and monitoring sales targets for your region.
  • Expanding household and institutional water connections.
  • Tracking and improving debt collection rates to keep cash flow strong.
  • Holding regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
  • Analyzing sales performance and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with other departments (finance, operations, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Preparing and submitting regional sales reports to senior management.
  • Acting as the bridge between the company and the community, ensuring feedback is gathered and acted upon.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for leaders who combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for sales, growth, and community impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to drive revenue growth.
  • Prior experience managing sales for a large and diverse customer base.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience building and managing teams.
  • A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (BA/BSc or Associate degree). If you don’t have one, convince us with your track record of success!
  • Multilingual ability to conduct sales conversations in Kinyarwanda, English, Swahili, and French.
  • A hands-on, “doer” attitude — you’re not just a manager, but someone who can roll up their sleeves when needed.
  • An understanding of the difference between growth and scale, and how to strategically achieve both.
