are currently hiring two (2) high-performing Regional Sales Managers to
join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in
expanding water services access across regions, ensuring that every
household, kiosk, and public space has reliable and affordable water
connections.

Your Core Mission
As
a Regional Sales Manager, your mission is simple yet ambitious:
Drive sales growth across your assigned region.
Expand our customer base by onboarding new households and communities.
Maintain excellent debt collection performance to keep operations
financially healthy.
Lead and inspire your team to consistently exceed targets.
Key Result Areas
- Revenue Growth
- Take ownership
of regional revenue performance.
- Drive sales of
INUMA™ water products and services (public water points, household
connections, and private contracts).
- Consistently
achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Customer
Engagement
- Actively seek
new customers and connections, ensuring growth in both household and
community networks.
- Maintain a 100%
accurate customer database for smooth service delivery and billing.
- Build strong,
lasting relationships that result in customer loyalty and low churn
rates.
- Innovate and
test new ways to improve customer experiences.
- Customer Support
- Ensure timely
resolution of customer issues, inquiries, and complaints.
- Escalate
problems when needed, but always prioritize fast solutions.
- Strengthen
customer trust through reliable support and follow-up.
- Team Leadership
- Recruit, train,
and coach your regional team of field technicians and kiosk
attendants.
- Motivate team
members to stay disciplined, productive, and customer-focused.
- Set clear
targets and hold your team accountable for achieving them.
- Foster a
culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As
a Regional Sales Manager, your daily and weekly activities will include:
- Setting and
monitoring sales targets for your region.
- Expanding
household and institutional water connections.
- Tracking and
improving debt collection rates to keep cash flow strong.
- Holding regular
team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Analyzing sales
performance and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating
with other departments (finance, operations, customer service) to ensure
seamless service delivery.
- Preparing and
submitting regional sales reports to senior management.
- Acting as the bridge
between the company and the community, ensuring feedback is gathered
and acted upon.
Candidate Profile
We
are looking for leaders who combine strategic thinking with a hands-on
approach. The ideal candidate will have:
- A passion for
sales, growth, and community impact.
- Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business
acumen with proven ability to drive revenue growth.
- Prior experience
managing sales for a large and diverse customer base.
- Strong leadership
and organizational skills with experience building and managing teams.
- A degree in
Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (BA/BSc or
Associate degree). If you don’t have one, convince us with your track
record of success!
- Multilingual
ability to conduct sales conversations in Kinyarwanda, English,
Swahili, and French.
- A hands-on,
“doer” attitude — you’re not just a manager, but someone who can roll
up their sleeves when needed.
- An understanding
of the difference between growth and scale, and how to
strategically achieve both.
