Water
Access Rwanda is seeking a SUPER responsible, intuitive, and passionate
Executive Assistant to directly support our CEO. This is not your typical
assistant role—you will be the backbone of the CEO’s productivity, ensuring
that every routine task is handled smoothly so that the CEO can focus on
strategic growth.

What You Will Do
As
the Executive Assistant, you will provide personalized secretarial and
administrative support on a wide variety of assignments related to the
CEO’s life, business responsibilities, and stakeholder relationships.
Your
work will include:
Key Result Areas
- Information
Management:
Transcribe, research, file, analyze, and organize data (digital &
physical).
- Relationship
Management:
Source, nurture, and maintain warm relations with stakeholders.
- Administrative
Support:
Manage logistics, office needs, and ensure smooth operations.
- Public
Relations:
Manage first impressions, appearances, and media interactions.
- Time & Task
Management:
Organize schedules, meetings, travel, and correspondence.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Act as the
primary point of contact between the CEO and external/internal
stakeholders.
- Screen and
direct communications (emails, calls, mail) to reduce distractions.
- Manage the CEO’s
calendar, prepare for meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action
points.
- Draft, analyze,
and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefs.
- Devise and
maintain filing and signature management systems.
- Handle errands,
sourcing, and small tasks that boost CEO productivity.
- Proactively read
and research industry trends to provide informed insights.
- Support HR
management tasks: maintaining personnel records, process audits, and
compliance tracking.
- Always look for
ways to make the CEO’s work more effective and efficient.

Requirements
- Excellent
knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital workplace tools.
- Strong
organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent
written & verbal communication in English, French, and Kinyarwanda.
- Avid reader,
eager to keep up with industry and social trends.
- Degree is not
required—skills, drive, and attitude matter more.

Compensation & Benefits
This
position will be awarded at Jr. Officer Level or Officer Level,
depending on experience.
Officer Level
- Net Salary: RWF 301,791
(after statutory deductions).
- Retention Bonus: RWF
100,000/month (payable monthly after probation, with a 3-year cliff).
- Possibility of
additional bonuses, communication cards, and staff support services.
Jr. Officer Level
- Net Salary: RWF 160,702
(after statutory deductions).
- Retention Bonus: RWF
40,000/month (payable monthly after probation, with a 3-year cliff).
- Possibility of
additional bonuses, communication cards, and staff support services.
