blends strategy, systems, coaching, crisis response, and hands-on problem

Strengthening
country operations at scale
GiveDirectly manages over $150
million per year across country offices. That scale demands discipline but
also creativity.
As GDCO, you will:
- Oversee financial management across all country offices
- Strengthen how Country Directors (CDs) manage
operating budgets
- Ensure offices are well-structured, compliant, and
impact-ready
- Support CDs across:
- Finance
- HR and people operations
- Compliance

- Administration

You will also lead:
- New country and project office setups
- Responsible wind-downs of offices when programs conclude
- Evolution of organigrams and leadership pipelines

A key responsibility is building and
implementing a compliance certification process that:
- Clarifies Country Director accountability
- Provides assurance through periodic verification

You will also conduct spot checks,

Serving
as the connective tissue with Global Shared Services
Complex organizations fail when

You will act as the primary
interface between country offices and GSS functions, including:
